I’m doing my part to make downtown Stuart, Iowa look better. I planted a tree. I realize it’s not a real tree, but a virtual one is the next best thing.

Scratch Josephine Weston’s name off the police department payroll list. Her background check uncovered a lawsuit/lawsuits pending against her last two employers. Nothing says happy employee like a big ‘F-you’ on your way out the door. Let’s hope the other new hire can get his credits to transfer from Colorado.

WCV Postseason Baseball and Softball

The guys had a tough first round matchup last night with No. 6 Carroll Kuemper and came away on the losing end, falling 10-0. Kuemper moves on to face unranked Audubon on Wednesday.
The girls will face off against Woodward-Granger on Monday, July 16th at Woodward. Good luck ladies!
