The Wildcats improved to 11-1 last night with a game against Van Meter. The Cats beat the Bulldogs in three. WCV School Board Election Results

Cary Gilman is WCV’s newest board member. He defeated Deanna Harwood for the seat, 221-146 (overall votes).
Other results:
Jeff Baker received 299 votes vs. 11 write-in votes
Harry Light received 272 votes vs. 14 write-in votes

WCV Volleyball

Good luck to the girls tonight when they take on Coon Rapids-Bayard. The Cats are currently 3-1 overall and are 2-0 and tied for 1st in the conference. Their strong play is led by Traci Scheloski who is 67/67  from the serving line.

If anyone needs a reminder that mixing drugs and alcohol is probably a bad idea, you can look at the incident at the Stuart Motor Lodge tonight. Shooting up then drinking a liter of whiskey is not a good idea. In fact, it can kill. Tonight it did.
