New and Improved
January 17, 2007 | 58 Comments
Welcome to the new Good Egg Gazette. I’m going to be rolling out some new features in the coming days and weeks and I think you’ll like the additions. I’m hosting the blog myself now (no more Blogger and Google to deal with) so if there’s any feature you’d like to see added just let me know.
More to come…

Great. Now I have to changr my favorites again. Geez. A little warning would have been nice.
Oh yeah… Since your still tweaking this site, it needs more color.
I mean you think it’s bad a pair of women are coming in from defunct lives a high school student who knows about as much as I do about the law is blogging, but an almost 30 year old who is a ticket scalper and is spending his money on a website for a blog that is not really serving a purpose come on.
Does anybody want to translate this for me?
seems pretty straightforward to me…
Is it missing some punctuation? Maybe that would clear it up for me.
put it in and repost it then. sheesh
Ok. I don’t like how the comments appear. Is there any way to seperate them into boxes or put lines between them or something?
I don’t like how any of it’s looking right now.
What?
Are you sure this new and improved blog was a good thing? It doesn’t seem to be starting out very well.
tell me about it
possibly u can sell something worthwhile on here like merchandise, tickets, porn, and more
I like the comment seperation but not the numbers… or how the names are but it is better than it was. Keep on tweaking!
PORN??? What the hell…?
i like the numbers
Carol Lurver.
This post is becoming very random! Why are so many people home blogging on friday night?
So, does this mean you are gonna update more often?
Oh, and do you get the email address when we enter it or is it lost in oblivion? Just curious.
If you enter an email address I’ll get it, but it’s not something that gets posted.
I’ll update as often as I can. Feel free to submit topics anytime.
For what it’s worth, I like it
Nate.
It’s worth more than you might think. Thanks Tom!
the chief of police was seen outside smoking at the police station before the meeting started. that bartlomey character was at the meeting before it started. if he could make it before the meeting started the chief could of too. she did it to herself.
the chief requested a hearing. she never requested a public hearing. read her letter as im sure she will show it to you.
its the same people who show up to support carol each time. no more and no less.
the charlotte on tv doesnt even pay taxes in town or volunteer for anything. how can she complain. check her record and you will see alot. she is just mad because her sister didnt get on the council seat.
p.s. i tried to post on the eye but they wont post.
I have to admit, it’s growing on me. I guess it’s just the change. I wasn’t prepared.
What is 2:52 talking about? Who is Greenbeck?
the old broad on the news who said people were being threatened. what a joke.
I’ve asked this on the IEye several times but for some reason they won’t post it. It’s in regards to the following quote: “And don’t give us that BS about she was late for the meeting…Marks knew she was going to be late due to an interview regarding the on-going criminal investigation involving Officer Mike Brehmer and Tyler Coe.”
So, I’m gonna post my question here:
Once again, how do you know what the meeting Carol was in was about? How do you even know who was there? More importantly, WHY do you know? Last I knew, details of police investigations werern’t common knowledge. Has Carol been talking out of turn?
are you silly anonymous. of course she talks out of turn and to her goons. nate wont talk bad about her though as he likes her.
where u at nate?
I think you’ve got more people on this blog than the last already. Congrats.
Ruby’s, where else?
nice of you to tell everyone in town.
The new site is interesting! Yeah! Nice to let us know you were in town again this weekend.
I agree Nate, one of those first anonymous posts made no sense at all. I read it about 5 times and still had no idea. Somebody needs inform this person punctuation exists for a reason.
you make no sense ew
when will yah be back in town?
I’ll be back as soon as I have $80,000 in my pocket. So it might be a while.
Don’t worry 4:18, EW hasn’t made sense for as long as I’ve known him.
January 20, 2:52. All those Wells Fargo listings. Wonder who on the Council works for Wells Fargo? Typical isn’t it. You don’t like the message so you try to discredit the messinger, right! Guess it’s hard to find the truth in your ramblings. I would think her sister is happy not to be associated with this council. Just ask Dick Cook.
oh please
Jan 22 @ 7:18,
Actually, that info is all on the Iowa Courts online website. It has nothing to do with working at Wells Fargo. Sorry to burst your bubble.
you have some great ambition to get 80 grand and come to stuart. better idea nate. take it make yourself a life outside of stuart. it would probably be better for your mental health.
I’ve made a life outside of Stuart, but I think in the not-too-distant future it will be time to come home.
can you loan me close to eighty grand? it would be nice. sounds like you are close to your goal. how close in months wise before you come back to stuart (home).?
I think 7:53 means: How many months til you move home (Stuart)? One? 6? A year?
Well, if I start saving now…and I save $1000 a month…I should be back in around 80 months. Donations are always welcome though.
can i get a job where you work. if you are saving that much each month i think i want to come to overland.
If you understand the concept of ‘buy low, sell high’ I think you have what it takes.
80 months = 6.7 years. You think that’s in the “not-too-distant future?”
Yep.
i think i will be dead by that time!
Hang in there. It’ll be here sooner than you know it. Any donations will help!
Why don’t you shoot for $3000 a month. Then that would be 26.6 months which is a little over two years. You’d still be in your twenties when you move back.
just make a donation.
WOW!! I like it!
