Back to school

Classes started up again today at West Central Valley. Which side of the fence are you on? Are you a parent and couldn’t wait for the kids to be out of the house again? Or are you a student or teacher and really could have used another week or two of vacation? I always enjoyed the summers, but at the same time it was nice getting back to school and hanging out with friends I hadn’t seen for 3 months.

I know I’m not a teacher at West Central, but I’m going to give my 2 cents worth. I started back last Monday for work week and our kids started this past Monday. It’s been alright getting back into the swing of things. I really actually wish my school would start in the middle of the week. It’s hard for those kiddos to go back to school and especially for a whole week! I know I probably complained at the beginning of the week, but I am ready to be back into a routine. I have a great bunch of kiddos too so I’m excited to work with them this year!
today was the longest day of the year as a parent. I kept looking at my watch, time passed so slowly, and I kept looked around my clean house and yeah I missed my kid.
Ya know, he had a great first day, he told us and is looking forward to tomorrow’s classes.
We are thankful for those who are committed to educating at school as we are thankful for the time we have with him at home.
