Catchup time

It’s kinda like a Weekly Recap, only I can’t call it that since it’s been over a week. Whatever.
- The Drake bandwagon continues to roll. It’s tough to sneak up on teams in March when you keep getting this much publicity in the national media.
- The new district football assignments have been released. WCV dropped down to 1A and will be in the same district as Panorama and Guthrie Center. It’ll be nice not driving to Omaha for a football game anymore.
- The West Central Valley girls fell short in their quest for state basketball, losing to North Polk for the second straight year. Where does this senior class rank in local high school lore? Disappointing for sure, but a very successful career nonetheless.
- WCV wrestler Kendall Davis lost both his matches on the second day of the state wrestling tournament. His first loss of the day was to the eventual champion.
