What grounds does Paige have to sue anyone over the fight? He’s the one who brought the “hired muscle” to intimidate the residents, from what I hear. I also have heard that Paige’s associate in this case is an ex-con he met in prison.
Hmmm…..
You know what? You’d probably be surprised by the people in town who’s been in jail or done some time in prison at one point in thier lives. Get over it. It’s the past. Move on!
So you all know the events leading up to the week we are to move out. The 3 of us found a place across town the week before we are to move out. The weekend of the 23rd-24th Dusty and I moved quite a bit of stuff, mostly his stuff and our couches. That following wednesday I returned from work to grab a bite to eat, and was leaving the building again when the elevator I had just rode to get to my apt 20 mins earlier was shut off with an out of order sign on it. Funny, when we have to be moving the rest of our things in 3 days. But that was just the start of funny things to come. I returned home from work on Thursday the 28th and there was a hole in the drywall right across the hall from our front door to our apartment. Friday night Nadalie and I were packing a few things right after work and decided to go to BK for some supper. As we were leaving there was a bunch off wreaths and decorations thrown around on the stairwell and the ladder to the attic was wide open. So not thinking anything of it we were leaving the building as 3 people were entering the main floor. One guy I recognised and the other guy and girl I did not. The one man was Russ Noble(Paige’s carpenter). So from BK we return and there were news papers thrown all over on the main level. So we ate and decided to go out for the night.
Upon our return to Stuart I took the scenic tour home and passed in front fo Ruby’s to see what kinda crowd they had. Approximately around midnight. As we were stopped at the sign in front of Dollar General I witnessed Dean Williams at the door of Nadalie’s car parked in front of our building. I’m not clear if he was just looking or seeing if it was unlocked, or maybe he was in the building and noticed her nice upolstry. I dunno?? So we followed him to his house but as we passed he backed out again which led to us following him around the north-west side of Stuart for a good half hour. Through back alleys even driving through the Pasco storage with his lights off. I know, wierd, I couldn’t undertand why he kept driving from us. He looked at me when we passed him on main street. Wouldn’t you stop and ask why I was following you?
So giving up and going home we parked our car on the west end of the block, and walking to our building we stopped to talk to the owner of Lincoln’s. He was telling us that Paige and his buddies were working on the clock and got it running for about a half hour when the motor broke again. Paige told Mr. Lose that they were going to stay in the building tonight so my girlfriend or I don’t vandilize the building, but he said they gave up and left around 10. So a quick chat turned into a half hour discussion about what Paige had been telling him about us. He got in his van and gave us a warning to be watching our backs because Mr. Lose said he wouldn’t trust Paige. So proceeding into our dark building I found that either the light bulbs were out of all the first floor lights or the breaker was off. Feeling my way back to the stairwell lights I yell out “Come out, come out where ever you are!” Just trying to scare Nadalie and being a smartass. Suprisingly the stairwell lights work. We made our way halfway up the first flight of stairs as a man I have never seen before comes running up the stairs behind us saying ” Here I am mother F****R”. He got in my face and says “You’re going to be a good boy tonight or there will be hell to pay”. I kept asking his name and why he was in our building, and he just kept talking about how we are to be good because he is night security. I get around him telling him to come across the street so the cops can figure this out, and he didnt wanna go untill Nadalie kept telling him not to be a pussy. lol So we get over to the cop shop. Officer Stout was there as was Officer Brehmer who was getting off duty. So here we all are trying to explain what is going on at the same time. This guy claims he was hired by Russ Noble and he doesn’t know Paige. He tells the officers that Nadalie and I have been destroying the building; putting holes in the walls, making messes in the hallways, and for vandilizing the clock after they spent all night to get it working again. The cops take his ID and try to get ahold of Paige to see if this guy is for real. They couldn’t get ahold of Paige or Russ, but they called Dean and he answered, and confirmed that this guy was supposed to be in the bulding for the night. So they told him to leave and wanted to hear from Nadalie and I what had been going on. A half hour or so later Officer Brehmer escorted us to check out our building. Not expecting the officer to come with us the night security guy came up from the basement as we walked passed the stairs but stopped when he seen Brehmer. By this time all the lights in every hallway and the stairwell were turned off and couldn’t be turned on by the switches. He got us upstairs and told us how to baracade our door so if he had a key he couldn’t get in.
So the following morning, Saturday the 30th we get out of bed and are getting things rounded up waiting for Dusty to arrive. He shows up about 830 and we make our first trip down the stairs. I observe Russ Noble in a chair at the top of the stairs on the 3rd floor. We get to the second floor landing and there is Paige informing us that we will have all day supervision. I got a kick out of this and told him not to be shy, and that he can lend a hand anytime. So over the course of an hour we have Nadalie packing things as Dusty and I take trips up and down 4 flights of stairs. My mom showed up a little bit earlier and one of my little cousins was sent across the street by my Aunt Nyla to lend a hand. Dusty and I are in front of the building shifting the load on his truck as a purple car comes flying up and bottoms out in the alley as the “Security guard” from the last night gets out of the car. He starts saying that “Its personal now” and trying to get me to get in his car to go for a “ride”. Claiming that him and I have personal business to settle. So stepping back in the builing I yell into the balcony to the second floor trying to get Paige to come down. He never showed so going back out I called 911 to get an Officer to show up. Officer Stout shows about 20 mins later and had a heated discussion with the guy telling him to leave us alone or he’s going to jail. We continued to move as the guy sat on the stairs on the first floor. Around noon Dusty had to go help his dad on the farm for a few hours so I called Josh to see if he was available. He worked till Noon so he didn’t get there till about 1. As we were moving the next few heavy things the tough guy on the first floor took an intrest in Josh. Having his camera phone out snapping a couple pictures of Josh and talking on his cell phone describing Josh. The following trip down he was talking about his car and license plate number. It was obvious he was not talking to anyone else that he just wanted to provoke something. After he was talking about Josh’s plate numbers, Josh asked what his problem was and why he was acting like that. That turned into a short name calling argument. So after that the guy had a smart remark to Josh on every trip. As Josh told him that he’d better just shut his mouth. Around 230 or so my brother Chris showed up to help with the final couple loads. Aa Paige returned to the builing my brother crossed paths with him on the top flight of stairs and seemed caught off guard. Chris asked him ” What’s up?” as Paige response was just a little trouble. As I spoke up the argument insued. He accused Nadalie and I of all the mess, the hole in the wall, the clock being damaged(When he told Mr. Lose the night before that the motor burnt out again), and he said that someone took a dump in the sink on the second floor bathroom lastnight. When i mentioned about showing us the mess that was made the subject was changed. As all the arguing was going on the man made is way up from the first floor to step into the middle. When I told Paige that this guy needs to leave(refering to the night security) he told me not to worry bout him. Josh spoke up in the middle and I’m not sure what the night security said to him but Josh got in his face and asked him if he really wanted to get something started. As paige turned around and told Josh that he’d better not be serious. So My brother got us all moving again. We took a load to the new place and when we returned Kenny Caulkins was at the front door with the door lock torn apart. My mom stopped to talk to him as they have known each other for a long while. I told kenny that he’d be better off not working for Paige because he is crooked. We just had a few more things to go as the security guy kept harrasing Josh. Asking Josh to look at his “package” and calling him a Faggot and a skinny pussy. So the final trip Josh told me he’d be right back. So we got our last trip down to the side walk. Our truck was full as Dusty called me just in time because he was returning to get the last load. I gave my keys to Russ Noble out in front of the building. AS Dusty pulled up so did Josh. His dad, his cousin, and brother-in-law got out of the car also. The security guy was in front of the building as Josh confronted him and the fight was on. Josh pushed him on the guy’s own car (He parked his purple car sideways in front of the building so we couldn’t unload right out the front). He was screaming “PAIGE, PAIGE, PAIGE!!” and Josh and his dad Terry had ahold of him on the car. Kenny Caulkin’s jumped in grabbing Terry by the head and pulling his ears the security guy got away and ran in to get Paige and Russ. When Terry turned to confront Kenny. He said ” Why the hell were you twisting on my ear?”. Caulkin’s took a swing and Terry swung back and as they were tussling the guy runs back out and jumps Terry from behind as they fall into the open passenger door on Kenny’s truck. They were all 3 down beteen the truck and car when Josh and his brother-in-law pulled the guy off ad on to the hood of the purple car. Josh was hitting him in the face over and over as the sirens got closer. Officer Stout and a Troper arrived on the scene at the same time as the fight broke up. The security guy’s face was bleeding all over as Terry was holding his arm and had blood coming from his mouth. The ambulance arrived shortly after to treat them.
We all did our poilce reports and the cops told us to all leave.
So feel free to comment more. I will have some more fun facts for everyone that I have found out after doing some research the past few weeks.
And the truth be told. Thanks Andy, the truth is so much more interesting than the gossip. Thankfully, no one was injured seriously. Did you mention to anyone the destruction when it was first noticed?
Who was I going to tell? Paige was in the building when it was going on. After the fight the Police asked Paige if he was being vandilized why he didn’t file a report with them about it. Paige didn’t have a comment on that.

And regarding “fun facts”…just remember, what goes around, comes around. Do you have “fun facts” about you, your family, your friends that you’d rather keep to yourself?
Thats good. Well, not only did Paige never file a police report on the “vandilism” in the building, but he also refused filling out a statement right after the fight. Then refused another one a few days later. So whoever you are go ahead and try to get his side, but I’m guessing you won’t get it. To answer your question, No, I don’t have any about me or my family, soif you got any please come tell me. Or if you do decide to post something make sure to sign it.
Like I said I have found out a few interesting things out in the past few weeks. I decided to try and find out who our mystery Security Guard is. Here are my findings…
His name is Kelly Hilpipre, and he has a rap sheet longer than White Pole road. In 1984 Kelly worked at gentlemans club in Des Moines called Sharky’s as a bouncer. One night while working he got in a fight with a man, and continued to beat the guy with a crowbar while unconcious. Come to find out he was an undercover cop. Kelly was sentenced to 25 years in prison. As a coincedence it was the same prison Paige was sent to in the early 90’s. So while locked up he witnessed a guard being murdered by a couple other inmates. Kelly was on the phone at the time describing to who he was talking to what he was witnessing. So after turning in the other inmates gets time knocked off his sentence. In 2001 he beat up his girlfriend and another guy at her apartment. Since she claimed to be in a relationship with Kelly DHS came and took her kids away. By the look of the rest of his record I have no idea why he isn’t back in prison.
I’m sure if I was a convicted felon and had a second chance this would be the guy I’d want to be associated with too.

Police say man invaded home, beat 2
In 1984, Kelly Hilpipre was convicted of attempted murder in the beating of a Des Moines police officer.

A man convicted of attempted murder in the brutal beating of a Des Moines police officer in 1984 was arrested Monday in connection with a home invasion and assault on two occupants.
Kelly Hilpipre, 46, of 4001 Eighth St. is charged with first-degree burglary of the home of Tammy Grant in the 2700 block of Indianapolis Avenue.
Hilpipre allegedly broke into the house and assaulted Grant, 32, and her guest, Adnan Nadarevic, 23, of Des Moines, on Friday.
Police said Hilpipre kicked in the door to the house and began pummeling Nadarevic with a “continuous attack of punches.” A police report noted that “Tammy grabbed a flowerpot and tried to knock Hilpipre in the head.”
Des Moines police Detective Dennis O’Donnell said that Nadarevic and Grant are co-workers and that Nadarevic “was at the house to work on a stereo unit.” He said Hilpipre knew Grant.
Nadarevic broke free and ran, and Hilpipre then began beating Grant, who managed to call 911, officials said. Police responded to an incomplete call.
Officers said they found a disoriented Nadarevic staggering in the street. Two top teeth had been punched backward in his mouth.
Hilpipre fled. He was arrested Monday and was being held in City Jail pending a court appearance today.
Kelly Hilpipre and his brother, Keith, were accused of beating Des Moines police Detective Ralph Woods in 1984. Kelly Hilpipre was convicted of attempted murder and willful injury and was sentenced to up to 25 years in prison.
Woods, 51, was repeatedly and viciously kicked after he was incapacitated, police said at the time of the trial. Officers all over the city rushed to help Woods after he was able to use his radio and say, “I need some help. I need some help quick.” One officer crashed his cruiser on the way.
Keith Hilpipre, convicted of willful injury in the attack on the officer, was killed in a traffic accident in 1999.
Woods eventually returned to work, but retired on a disability related to the beating 14 months later.<

i would be scared to be in that old building. after heareing all of this i doubt any person would want a condo in that buildding when they are done. sounds scary. security is nice but not by felons and peaple who make the newspaper for asaults.
The electrical wiring is like a fire waiting for a time to burn. There are a lot of power surges. I wouldn’t live there because of it.

As a long-time friend of the Pruitt family…and a friend and distant relative of Andy Forcht…everyone knows how things really work in Stuart. The only reason that people don’t like the Pruitt family is because they are jealous of them. They are a very close family and always have had eachothers backs. Josh Pruitt is probably the most deserving athlete to be inducted into the hall of fame. Why criticize someone for sticking up for a friend?
