I do wonder why Microsoft would consider expanding their operations in Iowa. The Iowa courts just demanded them to pay millions to the nice folks that filed a class action suit against them. If they are considering coming here, I would guess they would probably locate in a more urban setting. I don't doubt that Stuart would have enough power, but water I doubt it. The ethanol plant will be using all of that. And as far as workers, who knows? And for those of you that question whether Stuart would be able to supply enough power, have you forgotten the wind turbine? And how about the ice storms we had 10 years ago? We had power while nobody else did.(including Des Moines and it's suburbs.) A lady that I worked with lived in the country. She and her family moved into the Americinn for 10 days just so they could have lights and heat. So we shouldn't be so quick to put second guess Nate's dreams. Maybe Bill Gates won't hold a grudge.
