We all know Coach Goodman is driven. He’s passionate. He’s demanding. Most of the time that makes him a good coach and the kids better players. But today…well, maybe that isn’t the case today.

I think we can all agree the weather is shitty today, and many of us were caught off-guard. I was anyway. I think it’s safe to say Coach Goodman was too.  He wrecked his car and the ambulance had to come pick him up. They wanted to take him into town to check him out, but what does he want to do? He wants a ride to Menlo so he can be at practice.

Maybe it’s just me, but I’m thinking if an experienced driver like Coach Goodman can’t keep his car on the road in this weather maybe we shouldn’t risk the kids doing it either.

Just my two cents…

Happy Thanksgiving!

  1. Could is be he is just a bad driver? A lot of people are they don’t use their head and get on the brakes too much.

If you can’t handle driving on a couple inches of snow I think it’s time to move out of Iowa.

  5. I disagree. The man is committed to his team. He is a true professional and I admire him every time he is on the court.

  7. I heard only 1 Senior is going out for Basketball this year. Goodman said he did not want them since he did not coach them last year. Didn’t he coach them the 2 years prior to that?
I wonder what the real reason is.
