Stuart City Council News
December 9, 2008 | 13 Comments
Some of you are getting what you wished for.
Earlier this afternoon, Cory Waddell submitted his resignation from the Stuart City Council to the mayor and the rest of the council members.
From Cory: “I want to thank each of you for making my tenure on the council a pleasurable experience. I wish you all the very best and have the utmost confidence you will continue to make Stuart thrive and prosper.”
Thanks Cory.

A Christmas wish comes true… and people say there’s no Santa.
You might wait to see who the replacement is before you start celebrating.
Is it you?
I doubt it.
Cory was an honest councilman who wasn’t afraid to speak up. I hope the replacement can be like that.
oh wonder who it will be? do they go back to who had run before? like coe and askren and renslow?
Just to clarify…Askren and Renslow did not run. They received a number of votes as write-ins, but did not complete the process to be official candidates.
City council needs to check into this Craddock guy. A common mental thief. Fixin to take up roots in Stuart and rip off truckers. This should give the cops something to do. Seems like the mayor just buried her head in the sand, could it be she sold him a lot? Would be the worst thing to happen to Stuart. Cops not interested in checking much further, but someone should. Guy is crazy. drugged up on pills all the time, and can go off like a roman candle. Identity theft, fraud,…. The list is long. This isn’t about Coe, it’s about letting a dangerous person into this town on false pretenses. Will the eggheads on the council and zoning board approve this guy to set up shop here? They would rather pick on someone who has been here for years like Dave Wallace? Tax payer Dave Wallace. Bet your ass this Craddock has never paid taxes in the state of Iowa. No sales tax, or otherwise. Your worst enemy has just arrived and you don’t know it. Check it out. Name is Dale Craddock. Kansas.
7:23 Are you brain washed?
How do you check out this Craddock guy. Is there a site to go to?
several of the 50 states have, like iowa, open access to court records. sites like iowa courts on line. perhaps kansas is one of them? if you are willing to spend $13 the iowa division of criminal investigations will run a criminal history on any one you wish…including out of state records
