  5. I would like to thank the voters of Stuart for their support and confidence in yesterday’s elections. I would like to congratulate Mr. O’Keefe as well. Welcome to the council!

On a separate note, I have been very disappointed in a select few people on here. Some of the slander and defamation that has occurred over the past few weeks has really dampened my spirits. The personal attacks and trying to discredit me and those that I care about have gone way too far. I will elaborate on this later. After the elections yesterday I now know these are a select few and not the pulse of the entire community. As a matter of fact, there is a good chance these cowards that post anonymously may not even be from our great city! In any case, I hope you read these blogs for their entertainment value and not for your news for the day. There are very few posts that contain the whole truth or even any truth at all. About the only ones I can think of that are usually true are from the author of the blog, who signs their name to every post they make. That’s the thing about posting anonymously, you don’t have to have any facts or be able to prove your argument because you will never be held accountable for your actions or questioned regarding its validity. If you want to attack me, be human enough to do it in person or sign your name so we can discuss our differences of opinion. I love a good debate but will not debate with an anonymous person.

Again, thank you very much for your support.

    Sincerely,

    Cory Waddell

  7. Mick ruined a good thing for everyone running. The old man wanted it about as bad as a cat wants a dog bone.

  23. Nothing wrong with a little new blood. Could use a transfusion in several other spots, but what the hey, it’s a start.
