Weekly Recap
December 20, 2007 |
A day early to make up for last week…
- John Cena was attacked Saturday night at Ruby’s. He survived but there was some minor damage. I thought he’d be a better bouncer. He’s no Dalton.
- Speaking of fighting, ever see a virtual fight between two SEO nerds? I’m pretty sure TheMadHat would win in real life.
- Guess what? The high school’s west wing is in bad shape. The classes have been moved to somewhat safer rooms. I wonder if a kid fell through one of the canyons in the floor and died if it would sway any no voters. “I don’t care how many kids die. I don’t want my taxes to go up!”
- A walkout planned by the WCV students for Wednesday was pushed back to Friday at 2:00pm. The Man can keep us down no longer!
White Trash Christmas Bash at Ruby’s Friday night. I expect to see all 6 of you there. Peace out girl scout!

John Cena was in your bar? Did you have to save him?
No more fighting. We are in a do or die situation on the school Think about it. Menlo bldg. is on a time schedule, and the kitchen is shut down. We have four buildings and two without kitchens to serve lunch. How economical is that? We have two buildings out of four with time sensitive problems and nobody knows what the hell is going on. Will somebody with some kind of knowledge of the situation or at least the board pres. speak out about what is going to happen to this school district? These four communitites had better figure out that no matter WHO has new buildings, we are ALL at risk if there is just one building at risk. These kids will go through three out of four, they need a complete education at all levels in a safe and up to date learning environment. This is not to mention the teachers that would be bailing out because of the failure to act on such basic thing as buildings. What will happen if nothing happens as usual?
I’m sorry to say but the east siders (not all, but many) don’t really care about the west side because Dexter and Redfield both have new buildings. The west side wasn’t even asking for a new elementary. We were going to be content with a hand-me-down. But is that possible now? Who knows. Definately not if we can’t get the new highschool.
