The west side wasn't even asking for a new elementary. We were going to be content with a hand-me-down. But is that possible now? Who knows. Definately not if we can't get the new highschool. We are in a do or die situation on the school Think about it. Menlo bldg. is on a time schedule, and the kitchen is shut down. We have four buildings and two without kitchens to serve lunch. How economical is that? We have two buildings out of four with time sensitive problems and nobody knows what the hell is going on. Will somebody with some kind of knowledge of the situation or at least the board pres. speak out about what is going to happen to this school district? These four communitites had better figure out that no matter WHO has new buildings, we are ALL at risk if there is just one building at risk. These kids will go through three out of four, they need a complete education at all levels in a safe and up to date learning environment. This is not to mention the teachers that would be bailing out because of the failure to act on such basic thing as buildings. What will happen if nothing happens as usual? No more fighting.
