Weekly Recap

I waited a couple days on purpose this time…

- The WCV girls beat Panorama 51-39 on Saturday night. They play North Polk in the district finals on Tuesday night at 7pm in Panora.

- WCV wrestler Kendall Davis won his 112 pound district final and advanced to the state tournament where he’ll wrestle a freshman from SPTLKPK. I’ve never heard of that school.

- I watched my first indoor soccer action this afternoon. The WCV team tied the first game 2-2, and was leading the 2nd game 4-1 when I left to go buy some more furniture. I don’t know much about soccer but I know less about buying furniture. Soccer is better. Cuz Zach is fast.

- I found a new site called Generation Iowa this week. I haven’t had a lot of time to check it out yet, but it’s geared toward keeping young professionals from leaving the state. Not a bad idea if you ask me. Not that anyone did.
