2. Nate, What are you talking about?
   The only “Hate” I’m feeling is about people in this town jumping to conclusions about why there are 2 officers of our PD resigning. As I posted earlier on Peg’s blog(BUT SHE DIDN”T POST)the reason they are quitting is not to be blammed on our Chief. He is on the “BEST of the Best” list. Ron has chosen to advance his career in Law Enforcement by moving to the County Level. He’s one of the Good Guys too. Reha appears to be homesick. He’s going back to Colorado. In addition Randy Marchant, Gaylen Hindt and John Hunter are on the “BEST LIST” too. On the other hand, the WORST of the WORST LIST” begins with Carol Rayburn, Mark O’Leary, The Hispanic officer that stalked young attractive ladies and attacked the Mayor at a council meeting(I can’t remember his name, Willy Pettit, Allan Neal and the list goes on! Unfortunately there were many more bad than good. I’m hoping that Robert will stay around. He for the most part, gets along with everybody and is a pretty decent (WORKING) police chief. He seems to be a good fit for our community. This is one call that our city council is right on about.

4. My ass! Carol was a lazy joke. Chief Smith is literally a breath of fresh air compared to her. He’s always out and about patrolling. I rarely if ever see him at his office. The only thing Carol did was sit on her ever-growing ass behind a desk. Working chief she was not.

   Remember when she watched Slam’s burn to the ground and didn’t offer help because she wasn’t on duty? Chief Smith never would have just sat there at his window. He would have been the first on the scene.

   Casual observer, I think you are confused. Either that or your jokes suck.

5. hey nate read where your dad resigned sorry to hear that i don’t know how they will ever replace him. hope he is feeling good maybe he can spend more time uptown helping you since i know he cleans the bar for you.

6. Cant blame either of these officers for leaving. Working for the county is much better than the city of Stuart and Colorado, is Colorado. Hopefully they will find a officer that will last longer than 2 months.
