Weekly Recap

August 22, 2008 |

- Microsoft is going to West Des Moines, not Stuart. I heard we came in 2nd.

- The Iowa Speedway is getting a Nationwide Series race next August 1. I’m growing a mullet starting now.

- Obama called me and offered me the Vice President spot. Look for Nate in ‘08 commercials coming soon.

Would it be ok if we moved past the school vote yet? It passed, we’re moving forward, get over it.

  21. Hey, I just clicked on the ‘Stuart on Wikipedia’ link, Why is “That part of the city within Guthrie County is part of the Des Moines–West Des Moines Metropolitan Statistical Area.” and not the Adair side? Or better yet, why is Guthrie County even in the Des Moines-West Des Moines Metropolitan Statictical Area???? I realize it is only Stats and wikipedia may not be the best source, but still wondering.

  22. same as a question please person on August 26, 2008 8:17 pm
  23. Oh and nope not watching the dnc, we went to the circus. My little ones loved it, as did a few other little ones near us, in fact watching my little ones enjoy it was the best entertainment for me.
