Weekly Recap – Thanksgiving Edition

- CBS Sportsline is projecting the Hawkeyes vs. the Miami Hurricanes in the Champs Sports Bowl in Orlando on December 27.

- Some Iowa fans enjoyed the Hawks big win over Minnesota a little too much last Saturday.

- Have you ever seen the label on your turkey? It says sweet, young, and juicy. Damn! Last year I had my pants unsnapped before the meal! -courtesy of Larry the Cable Guy

  2. Thanks mainly to Oregon State’s loss to Oregon this weekend, the Hawks now look to be going to the Outback Bowl on New Years Day in Tampa. Don’t book your flight just yet though…there is still another week of games that could change the bowl game outlook.

  6. While I appreciate the compliment, is there a reason for your post “Anonymous on December 2, 2008 3:50 pm”? Are you just trying to stir the pot or do you have anything to add to the conversation at hand?

    Personally, I hope the Hawkeyes go to the Outback bowl. If I were actually going to the game though, I would vote for the Alamo bowl. I love San Antonio and the river walk.
